about

Mo pas laimé ça (traditional) is a jaunty New Orleans Créole song usually credited to guitarist Danny Barker who leads the chorus “I Don’t Like That” with clarinet player Albert Nicholas in the noted 1947 sessions. The satirical words are: “I don’t like…” a woman with big feet, little legs, short hair and a big mouth, and, in a jest on fidelity: “A woman in bed, a man under the bed…. I don’t like that”.
